This I feel lexsi.com is the most unprofessional group of professional's I have ever seen. We have a small mom and pop company with some demo sites that we use to show our clients that we sell and host. We were emailed by lexsi.com about a phishing scam and it was linked to my wed site domain. The domain was hacked and the hacker had hidden the folder so deep in my sites would not see it when you looked in the account.
The way I see there little remarks about it having a reputation of sending phishing emails are not true and just childish to point a finger and call someone something without all the facts... The site was hacked and we found the offending folder and removed the folder with in seconds of the notice.. We are a victim of hacking and lexsi.com seems to be calling our demo web site domain a known hacking site.. OMG, whats next.. I guess they have a perfect web site and never been hacked.. I feel it must be nice to be lexsi.com and walk on water
We do the best we can to keep all our sites secure and I am glad that lexsi.com helped us by finding the offending information. I just feel that there words were quite offending and the way it seemed they were calling me a known hacker and this hurts me.
You can do business with lexsi.com, I never will

Your site was hacked and this organization let you know this. Did they charge you for this notification? Would you rather have had them not tell you?
Most likely you got what amounted to a form letter based on one when one of their automatic scanners detected the problem. However, realize that companies do take this VERY seriously it doesn't matter if you knew of this "attack" or not. They won't say "oh they didn't know about it..well then I guess it's okay to visit their site".
If you want to know the truth the real people you should be writing a RipOff Report(besides the hackers) is who ever hosts your site(s). Because most likely THEY do not have the proper procedures in place to avoid this. So it COULD happen again.
It could be that they are not running any security software, or it is not kept up to date. The operating system is not up to date in it's patches(this is especially important for Windows machines). Their firewall is unsecure, or they have no firewall. The password security is weak. If they have simple user names and passwords(such as 12345) or a blank password. These are just a few general items, and if they fall into any of these categories you might as well stick a notice on your home page that says "Come and attack us".
I would also suggest that if you host your e-mail as well that you check to see if your server is on any "blacklist" if so you can just about guarantee that you are having e-mails blocked.
