Maine Lobster Direct ...ON LINE RIP-OFF

$68 Dead Lobsters
I ordered lobsters online from Maine Lobsters Direct. They were
delivered, as a birthday gift, and left on the front step without customer notification, even though someone was home all day.
They sat in 95 degree Florida sun until, when found, were very,
very dead. When I contacted Maine Lobster Direct about re-shipping the lobsters (their Pledge is ´´Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed´´, I was told we shipped them, Fedex delivered them, sorry your father couldn´t enjoy them. In other words, tough luck!
I´ve since asked other companies online that also ship food stuffs what their policies are and what they would have done in this instance, all have answered with re-ship or re-fund your choice.
I want everyone to know that customer service is non-existent with this company and that we, as consumers need to put our foot down a little more often when we´re treated badly. Especially now with internet shopping, we seem to be at their mercy and we need to take action against these disreputable companies.
Thank you for listening - I feel a little better now,
..now that YOU KNOW TOO.

I would think that the blame would lie with Fed Ex, not with the lobster company...
Fed Ex should be the ones who are responsible for leaving perishable goods on your porch without informing you that they are there...they were insured after all.
I know it's too late for this time, but that's what I would have done. I also would have disputed it with my credit card company....
