I ordered a Systemax Computer Package from this companies infomercial. I was promised a system in 2 to 4 weeks. After waiting 6 weeks, I called to inquire about my system. After a long wait on hold, I was told that VCS was no longer doing business with Systemmax and that I could upgrade to the "better" Quantex system. I wondered at this point had I not called, what would have happened to my order. I decided to upgrade to the Quantex system and was promised I would have my system before Thanksgiving. Still, to date, I have not rec'd anything. I called again to inquire about my system and was put on hold for over half an hour. Finally I was told that Quantex was not shipping to expectation and it could not be confirmed as to when I would get my system. At that time I told the operator to cancel my order. In the meantime I have been paying payments on an MBNA loan for the system. I was told that I would not be refunded my money until 30 days after they can confirm that the Manufacturer has not shipped the product.

UPDATE;

2 days after I cancelled my order I rec'd a call from a young man from VCS around 10:00 at night. He informed me that he found my messages on their voicemail ( I had left several at different extentions). When I informed him that I requested to cancell, he informed me that in his opinion it would take for ever for me to get my money. He was very nice and was telling me that because he knew the nightmares. ( I was lucky to get this guy) I told him that I really wanted the system and requested he stop the cancell. He tried to assure me that he knew quantex was indeed behind and for me to just wait another week or so. That was just before Christmas. ON new years eve I was given a FED ex tracking number and my system was finally sent. I finally rec'd everything. Now keep in mind, in the intrem, I filed a complaint with the BBB as well as the FTC. I also called them almost every day. Even though I got my system, I still feel that this company is a big rip off. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE LIARS!!.
