Why should a company pay for your careless handling?
Some
extended warranties DO cover this, but they're rather expensive.

You read about Acer refusing to fix other cracked/broken screen issues under warranty?....doubtful, and if so, why would they?
A MANUFACTURER'S warranty covers defective parts and/or labor.
Get over it and don't drop it or sit on it again....YOU know it's YOUR fault and the Ripoff is, you're trying to scam Acer.
