Known design flaws were not communicated to consumer. Product is now unusable and company claims we "missed" our opportunity for resolution. This Dell Inspiron 5150 has never worked properly. It often overheated causing sudden shutdowns. The power connector was never solid - failing to charge the battery and causing sudden shutdowns. The wireless card never worked resulting in light or seldom use. Instead of honoring their in home service warranty, they sent another wireless card which also never worked. Repeated attempts to contact them lead to half-hearted responses and excuses. According to reports on the internet, this system is a known lemon and may be involved in class action lawsuits, but we were never notified a problem existed.

Other owners of this model had their systems replaced with the inspiron 6000 which are still running today. We expect no less.
