I called and ordered my Dell computer over the phone and was approved to make monthly payments, I got my computoer in January and sent my first payment in Jan. and have made my payments as soon as the statement comes around the 15th -20th of every month, my due date is the 28th.

Well back last April we moved so I called Dell like I was supposed to to give them my new address. I never recieved my statement so it made me late on the payment and I called them he waived the late fee since it was their fault for not putting my new address in the system and gave me an address to send my payment.

I sent it out the following month I get a call asking where my payment is I explained the situation and said the payment had been sent. Then I get another call the next month saying wheres your payment I ended up faxing over a copy of the bank statement and a copy of the posted check that Dell cashed.

Well, now twice a month I get two-three phone calls asking me if I sent last months payment and a second call asking me where my payment is. I have faxed over a copy of this check and bank statement of every payment I have made and they seem to have misplaced all of this stuff.

To this day I owe over $1000.00 plus late fees because of one check they have misplaced. I have argued literally with customer service that it is their mistake and they need to fix it and they keep asking me to fax a copy of all my statement setc to them I told them NO look for the ones I have already sent.

Then about two months ago a customer service lady explained to me that they found that check in someone elses account and pput it back in my account.

Then she said so the computer is not accepting it and shows that I am one month behind and to fix it I should send in an extra payment to make it even I told her I dont think so, then I would be paying more. So as you can see I get herassed monthly over the phone and by mail with my statements saying I owe over $100.00 in late fees for their screw up and dont appreciate it one month I literally got into an argument with one of the customer service reps she was yelling at me!! I always ask to speak to manager or someone in charge and they arent any more help then the cust. serv. rep.

What can a person do to stop this abuse, I have wanted to send back my computer so many times but I know I would still be stuck paying. They have totally made me feel abused and mistreated!!
