Dell Rep. Sold me a computer with awesome capabilities. Told him that I was planning on upgrading the video card on my own, he told me "Great Idea"

I opened up my NEW DELL only to find that... YOU CAN'T! He Lied! I Called Dell to find out what was going on. 4 Days later, and 15 Hours later, they offered me $250 off a new computer- but I had to order it online.

Hung up, went online to redeem offer only to find out... DELL LIED AGAIN!

!!BUYER BEWARE!!

Do you know enough about computers to know if DELL has send you all of what it promised??

WHAT REALLY IS IN THOSE MAGIC BOXES WE CALL COMPUTERS?

I HAD MY ISP RUN A DIAGNOSTIC ON IT AND I ONLY THOUGHT I HAD A DELL LAPTOP

AUTHOR: Helene - Elgin (U.S.A.)

I have what APPEARED to be a Dell Laptop that I bought used and I was trying to make sure that my wireless router was working ok so I told the IT guy at my ISP to check it out and he told me what sort of computer that his scan said that I had --and GUESS WHAT, IT WASN'T DELL.

I don't care because it works super for what it is supposed to be - the bottom of the line of Dell's laptops, I think it is a Latitude or something like that... It could be a server and performs better than this "pure" Dell desktop...

However, there is definitely truth in what you say.

I am GLAD I bought it used at less than a third of the price of a "purebred" Dell because I think I got a lot more for less, apparently! Never given me a day's problems.

So I guess it must NOT be a Dell.

#2 Consumer Suggestion

I'm confused...

AUTHOR: Sylver8248 - Murfreesboro (U.S.A.)

Helene...you say that you didn't receive a "purebred" dell...yet you name the model Latitude? Last time I checked the Latitude IS indeed a Dell model.

You also stated that you bought it used from someone...not directly from Dell. Not entirely sure who your complaints is really against here...are you mad that you got something you didn't expect?
