DELL Computer modem never worked, DELL contradictory advice. Repeated calls to service centre put On hold for up to 30 minutes. On last series of attempts to get through raised DELL 2 days after warranty expired . Serial number registered to someone else?? Gold Coast And Internet

Bought a DELL compter via the internet, modem never worked, repeated calls to DELL did not get the problem resolved. Different customer service operators offered contradictory advice to the extent of querying previous advice. DELL queried the advice I was given despite the fact that I read straight from my notes reiterating what I was told!!

My computer appeared to be registered to someone else. I had all the original paperwork and serial nubmers etc were consistent yet DELL kept advising that I did not have the computer I did....Put on hold up to 30 min a time etc ..often could not wait to get through. Last attempt was in the weeks running up to the warranty expiry..got through 2 days late and told too bad they couldn't help!! Modem never worked!!!
