I think that posting you found for help with the skype link was my project - I had a large cake php project that I contracted to him on 2/15, sent him the deposit to work and got the same response as you.  I haven't heard from him and I am out about the same amount of money. 



Very similar situation as the one you listed.  I made a temp gmail address - can you contact me? (((Redacted))) I would like to see where you stand with your situation, and share with you what I am doing.



Also, it looks like he moved his website to http://freelancewebmaster.net



He singed my NDA and WMFH under Kevin Kent, however, DBAs as Freelance Web Developer.  I called his bank (that he cashed my check at) and they confirmed that his name is Kevin Kemp.

Looks like the email address was redacted, so just use my rebuttal title or the new display name using gmail (google's email). 

I got in touch with the landlord who is leasing it to Kevin Kemp's girlfriend at the address you listed in your original complaint - the landlord said about 5 or so individuals have contacted him and has had the same complaints about the fraudulent activity by Kevin.

same story, not sure how to contact others who are reporting the same?

Previously spoke with Kevin over contracting some art to me.  After the work was completed, he expressed disinterest and bailed. 

For those still getting scammed by Kevin Kemp/Kent, here are the steps I took (I would at least file a complaint with the Winter Park Police Department if nothing else - if he is still in that jurisdiction): 

1. Submitted complaint to the BBB of Central Florida (Kevin Kemp/Kent did not respond)

2. Spoke to Sgt. Ron Johnson of the Winter Park Police Department  at 407-599-3312 rjohnson AT cityofwinterpark.org.

Note: Kevin Kemp does what ever it takes to defraud - he even mislead Sgt Ron Johnson by telling him he was going to send me the refund (sent an email confirming), but it was never sent.

Sgt Ron Johnson has been the only somewhat helpful source... maybe  if you go to him he will escalate the matter.  I would suggest that if  your reading this to file a complaint at the Winter Park Police Department.  Kevin Kemp/Kent has a history of this type of  activity (and the Winter Park Police Department knows of the fraudulent activity), if enough people file a complaint eventually there should be enough evidence to prove intent to defraud and put this guy behind bars.

Kevin Kemp is on the prowl again.  Be on the look out, I’ve uncovered a number of different businesses leading back to him.

The LLC also shows up in the ToS for an OrlandoMobile.  Orlando Mobile boasts some awful deals, such as “Facebook Fanpages from $199”.  “Only $499 for you own Phone App!” “Affordable prices”?  You be the judge.  Like most of the Net Wrangler, LLC sites there are temporary links and broken pages everywhere.  Orlando Mobile does offer this twitter account, though:

Most of the Tweets seem to be filler, with the user mentioning he needs a certain number to PM as well as a lot that read “Testing t-code”.  There’s also this Tweet: “@BJS22 Hi Belinda! I sure miss Ft. Sam Houston sometimes – Kevin” confirming who the user is.

Kevin seems to own a lot of other domains; if one pays for a reverse whois service you’ll certainly find more.  Be aware, he is a known scam artist and is obviously still fishing around.

ANONYMOUS SLANDER and FALSE ACCUSATIONS

Anonymous people filing bogus complaints. Kevin has been in business in this area for about 15 years. He has MANY local clients and great references.  So stop whatever it is your trying to do to him.  All these lies about him damages his family and his business. If you have a complaint then I suggest you bring it up with him or even file on him in civil court.  If he was doing all these terrible things he would be in trouble and would have been years ago.

Spreading this type of slander is unlawful.

I would love to take Kevin Kemp to court, but in order to do so I need his address.  Since they are small dollar amounts, the amount of money it would take to track him down would actually not be worth it - he ran the last time I tried to track him down.  I consulted my lawyer who said after all expenses to find him, I would be losing money. 

If you're such a loyal ex-employee and think he is so innocent, then please provide Kevin Kemp's current address where he resides, personal phone #, current place of business, or any other information that would allow this audience to know exactly where he is, and I will gladly summon him to court.  And by the way, he has quite the criminal record - just look him up in the public records.

This is simply not true. You don't even have a name? So you had some problem with your service or maybe you didn't want to pay the bill and got shut off? Maybe you had some contract dispute?

Kevin may have been in business for 15 years, but he's been mistreating customers all the way.  When I tried to discuss the problem with Kevin he threatened me and my business then hung up on me.  The police can't do anything because he's constantly moving and changing phone numbers.

Kevin has complaints against him all across the web, from web hosting to graphic design to iPhone app designs.  He has records against.

If you have a legitimate complaint tell us WHO YOU ARE and file it in a court of law.  

What your doing here is cyberstalking and cyber-bullying. A violation of Florida law.

Causing damage to someone's business by saying it's a scam is evil. If you had a bad experience that's business.
