Beware with Sevenapps.com
Don't be tricked by their low price for design/programming service.
I contacted sevenapps (kamal gupta) on May 09 for a simple website design modification project from a purchased website template.
He quoted a low price but do not show much interest on how do I want the website to look like. He said he will contact me again for more detail. Project was quoted to be done in 2 weeks.

Ask for 50% of the payment. I paid thru paypal. He hardly reply to emails. Mostly the answers are OK, or working on the project. Nothing concrete.

After 2 weeks, he asked for extensions, then I waited, after another 1 week, asked again for extension. Did not see anything still.

Upset about sevenapps, I file a claim thru Paypal. Finally....
Got a respond, saying the project is almost done. I asked to see the progress, he showed me the template which I purchased somewhere else with very little modification.

He asked me to close the dispute otherwise he won't proceed with the project. Ok, trusted him again for one last time. Told him what I wanted for the website.
After 1-2 time online chat. I wanted to believed him again and closed my dispute at Paypal. After that, He was gone again....

No news from him. until around last week, Aug 10, 09 I tried to re-open the dispute, but little that I know the closed dispute cannot be re-open. He must've know that. That was why he was kind of insisted me to close the dispute immediately reapeatedly.

Fortunately, I tried to call Paypal and spoke to a supervisor and explain him the situation then he helped me to re-open the case. Again happen, He contacted me again after seeing the dispute.
Still nothing until now. I decided to just cancel everything and don't want to deal with sevenapps or kamal gupta anymore but I still have to wait for the paypal dispute result. I have already lost the money for purchasing the template.
It's been 3 months for 2 weeks project, still nothing up to now.

All of you out there, beware of this company. I saw their ads at freelancers.com
Be careful of sevenapps.
