Geek Squad - Best Buy ripoff deleted software Chandler Arizona

I took my Gateway Desktop PC into Geek Squad because it was erratic at start-up. The diagnosis was that it had numerous spyware programs. Okay, my bad!! Since I picked it up I have found that my Virus software was deleted completely, my email accounts no longer work, my Windows automatic update was turned off, the themes/displays were all changed, etc. etc.

It has taken me well over a week to get my computer back to any semblance of order so that I could use it. And I only had to pay them $185.00 so I could be unable to work on my computer for an additional week.

As every other rip-off filer has mentioned the customer service sucks!! When called about the missing virus software, after 5 calls that were either disconnected or just plain not answered, the "supervisor" admitted that the software should have been reinstalled, if they had to uninstall it to fix the PC. Well, DUH!! I will never let anyone from the Geek Squad touch my computer again and would suggest anyone considering taking their equipment to Geek Squad, reconsider unless you are willing to reinstall all of your software.
