I have kodak ESP 5250 printer which quit working. have owned about 10 months, would ocassionally messup then it got to were it would not print at all.Called kodak they sent out new printhead installed didnt fix problem.Called them back got a bunch of run around try this and that to no avail.They say serial number dont show up in their system at all.I dont have reciept from walmart were puchased they wont do anything about it so im stuck with a $200.00 piece of junk.

How is Kodak supposed to know when you purchased this printer?

So, obviously you didn't register the warranty with Kodak and threw away the receipt.

How, in ANY way is this Kodak's fault?

BTW, it IS known that if you use refilled ink cartridges, they can and do cause problems, such as intermittent and no printing and if the printer has separate printheads, they can easily clog.

No, I DON'T work for Kodak.

I think you shot yourself in the foot on this one.

You're lucky Kodak honored your warranty insofar as they sent you a new print head, without requesting your proof of purchase. Now they want it, you're out of luck. They're probably going bankrupt soon anyway. Maybe Walmart or your credit card issuer can dig up a receipt for you before your year runs out.
