Laptop Ready Professional Did not repair my computer, stole motherboard, took 4 months ripoff Longwood, Florida

Web site states 10,000 parts in stock, 6 day turn time.

I sent them my Gateway 7426GX to replace the keyboard. They replied it would take "as long as 28 days and $448". I sent them my computer Feb 21. 07

It did not come back until June 23, 4 months later.

I found then that the 'new' keyboard has a key that will not work, and I have no sound at all.

I looked into the computer and found that they swapped out the motherboard with an older and much slower Gateway MB #7110GX.

They have not replied to any of my emails asking about this unauthorized swap or the key and sound.

The sound problem is because they didn't load the right driver when they stole my MB.

During the 4 months they had my computer I would call them every Friday. Each Friday they had another lie. I was told 3 times it was shipped, or would be shipped tomorrow. I was told 2 times that it was being tested and would be shipped soon.

After 3 months, they then told me that they didn't have the parts and would 'upgrade my motherboard with an advanced one from Gateway'. I checked with Gateway and found it was a very old MB, very slow, with less memory. I told them I did not want any other mother board than the one I had and to return my computer.

After a week I again asked for my computer back. My lawyer sent them 2 letters requesting my computer back. They never replied or returned my computer for another month.

I am still looking into legal action against this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REPAIRS.
