Antivirus 2008 It comes up like an update to my AOL virus protection. I can't get rid of it. It keeps giving me warnings. Interupting my internet activity. The support website does not respond. Internet

Antivirus 2008 comes up like an update to my AOL virus protection and when I let it scan it then asked for a registration number. When I could not provide one, it asked a payment of $39.99. I can't get rid of it, it keeps giving me warnings and interupting my internet activity that I pay AOL to provide. The Antivirus 2008 SUPPORT website has not responded to my questions. This is an outrage.
