Helpmedownload.com, Saphie Number One Limited helpmedownload.com, Misrepresented product/service and didn't fully honor their 7-day-satisfaction-guaranteee, Internet

 This company claims to provide you access to free software (in my case Open Office) when you subscribe to a membership. When you go to download the software, they do not have the software for all the operating systems that they claim to---but when you call customer support to let them know, they inform you that they are only providing technical support for the free software, but that they will tell you where to go to get it for your particular operating system. (In case anyone needs to know, go to linksnotallowed.openoffice.org and just download it FREE.) 

I had ignorantly assumed that I needed a membership to download the software and found out the hard way that they don't carry the version for my operating system. When I called to take advantage of their 7-day-satisfaction-or-your-money-back policy, the salesperson went through every gyration from explaining that it was tech support that I needed (I didn't) to pretending that the line was cutting in and out and he couldn't hear me. Then he proceeded to inform me that I would be charged a $9.95 processing fee to cancel. I told him that I that this was a great scam that he had going and that I was going to let the BBB know about it--especially since their site clearly showed that my OS was available. That seemed to get his attention and he informed me that the processing fee would be waived, but I won't know until the money is redeposited into my paypal account whether it will be honored or not.
