OVERNIGHT GENIUS OFFERED A 10 DAY TRIAL AND CHARGED ME ANYWAY!! Boulder Colorado

I saw an offer on the internet to learn Power Point. I emailed the comapny and was supposed to be charged only a Shipping and Handling fee on my credit card. I was told I had "10 days to review the information" and then I could cancel if needed. I received my package Nov. 1st. By Nov. 10th, I still had not had time to even OPEN the package so I decided I would call the next day and cancel then return the CD.

On Nov. 11th (10 days after receiving the CD) I called customer service. The representative told me that "unfortunately, your card has already been billed and we cannot offer any refunds, nor is the package returnable"!!! I asked why and she simply stated, "I'm sorry ma'am, this item is not returnable or refundable." and ended it at that.

I ecame absolutely furious! Why was this company INSISTING on charging me $76.23 for a package that was sent to me in the EXACT condition as it was when I returned it, for NO reason? She said that the return date was 10 days from the date ORDERED, not received! How can you review something for 10 days if you HAVEN'T EVEN RECEIVED IT??!!

I sent numerous e-mails, made several phone calls, and sent the package back. I am also placing a stop payment through my credit card and credit union. However, I still have not had my issue resolved. I am now impatiently waiting...

PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE be careful what you purchase online and READ the FINE PRINT!! This is a scam and no telling how many others paid for something they did not agree to!
