On Rebate.com everything accepted and approved, but no check Ripoff Boca Raton Florida

I made a purchase from TigerDirect which had a $40 rebate involved with it. No problem with product or shipping. I chose the expidited rebate which should be mailed 3-5 days after rebate acceptance, at a cost of $4.50.

The acceptance procedure went fine. "My Rebate Status" is as follows: applied onrebate 6/1/2006- confirmation email sent and confirmed 6/1- printed rebate registration, awaiting documentation 6/1- "The Re bate was accepted" 6/8/2006

Todays date is 7/19/2006, and no sign of a check. I've contacted on rebate several times by telephone. First they said they didn't know what happened, but they would pay the entire amount including the fee. As of today, which I contacted them again, all they tell me is that it's in the accounting dept and I will be contacted within 48 hrs.

I have never been contacted by OnRebate.com. At this point, I really don't think I ever will
