Tiger Direct - OnRebate MAJOR REBATE RIPOFF SCAM Miami Florida

Tiger Direct uses a company called "ONRebate" to process the rebates offered. The prices are fantastic when you figure in the rebates. The problem is trying to collect the rebates.

I suspected a scam as soon as I started filling out the rebate forms and trying to follow the rediculous instructions.Still, I sent it all out 4 weeks before the expiration so that I would have plenty of time to correct any problems.

Well guess what! No Rebate!I have written several emails and made several attempts to contact a real person. No one ever responded to my emails and my phone calls were cut off (disconnected)!

I place all responsibility on (1st) Tiger Direct since they have apparently contracted OnRebate to help them proliferate this scam and (2nd) on OnRebate for being an unscrupulous fraud. (Isn't it interesting that they are both based in Miami - even with the same area code!!!).

I am now going to contact The Florida consumer affairs department to report this. Without the rebate, I never would have purchased the item in the first place. I hope I can save some of you from the same terrible experience I have had.

Better yet, I hope I can help put them where they belong.
