I was scammed by this company. They drafted 150.00 out of my savings account. I did not sign a consent form, or agree to anything. I went to the ATM the day my paycheck was deposited, and I was 150.00 short. I went home and called my bank, and they said that this "USA Credit" had drafted the money out. They had also tried to get it out twice before.

Since there wasn't enough in there to cover it the bank charged me two 30.00 NSF fees, in addition to the 150.00 USA Credit took out. This caused me to be behind in my regular bills, and I did not have enough money to get my blood pressure medication. I was very upset. I called the phone number that was on the website at usashoppingclub.com. It was disconnected.

My bank gave me another number that was working. I was put on hold for 45 minutes. When I finallly got through to someone they told me that I could not get a refund. Then they offered me a free vacation, and a 25.00 gift certificate to their online "store." I said that I just wanted my money back. They transferred me, and I was put on hold for another 25 minutes.

When I got through this time, they said I could only get back part of the money, because they charge a 35.00 application fee that is non refundable. So I would only get back 115.00. Then they said that it would take 10 days to get my money back. They also said that they would put a charge off on my credit. Finally, after much bickering, I got all my money back. I still do not know how this will affect my credit.

DO NOT let yourself be scammed. NEVER give out social security numbers or bank account info to ANYONE, unless you are %110 sure that it is a legitimate company, backed by the BBB or the FDIC. Otherwise you leave yourself open to losing money, and your good name. The working number for USA Credit is: 800-685-9354. Maybe this will help someone not have to go through what I went through.

How to get a refund from USA Credit

AUTHOR: Miss D - Hickory (U.S.A.)

I was ripped by USA Credit. Finally, after 2 days I got a refund for 115.00. You have to be very abrasive with them. I lost the other 35.00 though, for some kind of application fee. My bank says that they are true to their word, and you will get your money back in 3 days. USA Credit also puts an automatic draft on your account. You must fill out a stop payment form, or they can still take the money even after you have cancelled your membership with them. The bank told me that anyone that is ripped off by them can file a complaint with the BBB. The website to do this is www.BBB.org. I did. Lets work together to shut these people down.
