This scheme has just gotten started in the Seattle area. They plan to go "world-wide".

I did NOT get involved past one two-hour and two six-hour workshops where they explained their scheme.

These con men attract desperate unemployed and displaced workers with an offer of training and certification in "mid-tech" skills. They guarantee that they will get hired soon after they have started the "training".

The $6800.00 tuition is expected to come from training benefits offered by government, former employers, or other sources that they can exploit. Eskillsource will actually share $1500 of this tuition in the first 90 days. In order to "graduate", the "apprentice" must sell a minimum of 18 websites or enroll - and find funds for - 25 other "apprentices" (pyramid?)

The guaranteed "job" is either 1) selling websites for Vistacom, Inc., 2) generating relationships with foundations, non-profits, and others to gain access to their re-training and educational funds, and eventually 3) administration of the organization to perpetuate the scheme.

They are approaching legitimate educational institutions (local community colleges, technical colleges, etc.) to lend their names to the "graduation certificates" in exchange for a cut of the money. The "training" may actually take place at the institution!

I am concerned that desperate unemployed people will use (and as a result of using them on this scheme, lose) their training benefits, come out with a sales job that they burn out on in a short time, and end up without a job or any new marketable skills.

I am concerned that reputable educational institutions will lend their credence and jeopardize their reputations on a crafty scheme to sell websites.

I am concerned that government and corporate monies that have been allocated for training purposes will be spent to support a crafty scheme to sell websites.
