Progressive Business Publications HRLEGALTRAINING.COM Invoiced Accounts Payable Claiming Our HR Director ordered a $400 Subscription When She In Fact Did Not Authorize It! Malvern , Pennsylvania

Our small business received an invoice from Progressive Business Solutions billing us for "a one year subscription to HRLEGALTRAINING.COM - your convenient, time-saving desktop HR training library." It described the subscription terms as "One Year - Unlimited Access." In 2 places, the invoice named our Director of HR as the person authorizing and using the subscription. This was a lie.

The invoice charged us $399.00 for "Total annual subscription price" The invoice also indicated the "Balance Due" as $599.00

I contacted our Director of HR and asked her if she'd ordered a subscription to HRLEGALTRAINING.COM. This is her reply:

"Please take note that Progressive Business Solutions is not a company that I order anything from.  They send invoices in hopes that we will pay them after saying that you can have a “free” trial in a phone call that I usually terminate.  I’ve never received the newsletter, and haven’t received any invoices either...Usually I tell them that I don’t need the offer because I have professional associations.  They have done this before, and I do not have any publications that I receive from them."
