The Grant University And IWB Club Ihave a weakness for playing it real close to the edge, so the unauthorized $29.95 deducted from my account not only took me by suprise, but it caused me extreme hardship. I have had 1.40 something in my account for the entire weekend. I wanted to take a bus today and could not afford the trip. In search of the famed but elusive Goverment Grant. Henderson Nevada

I authorized this company to send me materials for $1.98. By the time I recieved the disc, I had to call the company to trace where it came from. The message I connected with was so garbled and slow that I did not put this disc in my computer for fear of getting a virus.

What seems like many many multons later, I am doing my pre-withdrawl accounting and I'm 29.95 short. WTF?! Right?

I have to contact the bank. I have to wait for the bank to confirm the origins of this transaction. Nobody said anything to me about 29.95. There is a weekend. There is a holiday weekend. My guy at the bank is out for a day. A day. A day. A day. I'm about as desperate as I can be.

I finally recieve the information I need and take action (phone call). The customer service rep is polite, cordial and familiar with this type of phone call. He tells me I will recieve a confirmation email. He had to send it twice before I recieved it. They say I'll have my money back in 3 business days.

Everything is relative. I'm relatively of the belief that the suffering of not being able to get around and having to eat all my girlfriend's food and not having any cigarrettes is worth $5000 from an unscrupulus company undertaking illegal business dealings in amounts that could slip right by you.

IWB Club Sounds like a Winner

AUTHOR: Globalcitizen - Los Angeles (U.S.A.)

So let me get this straight. You ordered something online. When it arrived, you didn't remember where it came from so you called on it and because the connection was bad or the quality of the recording was poor you became afraid and decided to not continue looking into the product that you thought might be helpful to you before. Then, after ignoring the issue, you were billed and you called and challenged the charges and the company promptly refunded your billing. And now, you're posting negative comments about that company because the $30 they charged was the last you had and therefore you had to go without smokes and a bus ride. (As a smoker, I'm willing to bet you became resourceful and created the means to get some cigs)

OMG, what a predicament! I wish all of my customer service troubles were as friendly and simple to resolve as yours was. I don't know alot about the products in question, but in the end it sounds like this company was completely cooperative and the person complaining is lashing out because he is frustrated and broke.

Perhaps Adam should listen to that inner-voice that prompted him to look for financial enlightenment in the first place and stop attacking the solution because it didn't work like magic for him?
