2 young girls came to my door stating they are in college and are selling magazines. They showed me ID's from the City stating that it is alright to sell magazines in the community. I figured that it would be o.k. to help students in college.

I bought 2 subscriptions in February 2002. Later I received a letter stating one catalog no longer accepts Book Net's subscriptions and I needed to select another magazine and mail it in. I do so in May.

I tried to call the telephone number and got a recording stating that only people looking for employing with them can call. I talked to someone there and was told that subscriptions is a different department and cannot be reached by phone.

Now it is November 2002 and no magazines and cannot contact them about it. I guess I just got ripped off again and can't do anything about it.
