EquaSystems Inc. Doesn't Pay It's Contractors ripoff dirty ripoff dogs deceptive company Bryan Texas

I signed a contract as an independent contractor to perform "prospecting" services for EquaSystems. I spent hours making long distance phone calls, which I had to pay for, to companies in the New York area. EquaSystems sells disaster recovery computer and program services to companies. After completing about half of the hours I had a better offer which did not require me to spend my money for long distance calling and spend several unpaid hours on the phone with the manager. When I told the manager Lori French, from Becker and Associates, that I would not be working for her and EquaSystems anymore she told me that was fine and she would have Wes from Equasystems send me my check. After I did not receive the payment for services I emailed and called Lori. She told me that she would follow up and call me. She never called so I called her again and then she called me back telling me that Wes said he would not pay since I did not work enough of the hours to fill the ocntract. They make it clear that you are not an employee and that you are an independent contractor. Then when you exercise your option to stop contracting they don't pay you. If any one is thinking of working for EquaSystems, Becker & Associates or with Lori French who is form Ohio, THINK TWICE. They never paid me for work completed.
