It all started when we got a phone call from my grandmother. She called to tell my family that my mother's brother had died. We immediatley flew down to Florida to be there for his funeral. I loved my Uncle John very much.

While we were in Florida, I had a heart to heart conversation with my close cousin, Jessica. She told me of my uncle John's and Aunt Marcy's problems, none of which I or my mother knew about. They had split up a few months before he died. The reason for the split up was because my Uncle discovered that Marcy had been providing Marijuana and Cocaine to their children, MY COUSINS!!! After the split up, my Uncle was repeatedly assaulted at his new condo. Every time he was assaulted, it was when his prosthetic leg was off (he had been in a motorcycle accident in the 80's, and his leg was amputated.)

It just so happens that my younger cousin (his son) lived with him there at the condo, but was always gone when my uncle was assaulted. This story is so crazy I dont even know where to begin. 3 days prior to his death, my cousin (my uncle's son) was sent to stay with one of my uncle's employees. Upon his return, he did not want to get out of the car, and would not ellaborate on why he did not want to go into his own home. It was almost as if my cousin knew that his father lay dead inside the condo. This was later reported to the police upon the investigation of my uncle's death.

It was later discovered that during the 3 days that my Uncle lay dead in his home, before he was discovered, his truck had been seen leaving and returning to the condo. The only other person with access to this vehicle would be his son, or Marcy (she had a spare set of keys).

After his body was found, a full fledged investigation was ensued. His wife at the time (Marcy) was investigated, along with other aquaintances of my Uncle. My Uncle's son and daughter were questioned as well. Upon the questioning of my Uncle's daughter, she admitted that Marcy, her mother, had left town the week prior to the discovery of my Uncle's body. She stated that Marcy had to "go away for a while, and she was not sure when she would be back". Marcy had gone to Miami, Florida during that week; a place where she knows no one, has no place to stay, no ties to, etc. Seems very odd to me.

On the day of the funeral, Marcy, and my 2 cousins arrived LATE!!! And on top of that, Marcy looked as if she were going to a picnic. She wore white capris, a blue jean top, and white sandals. There was no sign of tears throughout the entire funeral, even when the guitarist played my Uncle's favorite song.

Before the funeral, my Cousin Jessica and I sat around and hypothesized on my Uncle's death. We decided between ourselves that he did not die naturally, based upon the scene of the death. He was found with his leg off (like all the other times), the water was running in the bath, and the dresser was on his head. He was lying on the bed when he was found. The room was ransacked, pictures broken, clothes strewn about. It looked like an attempted burglary gone awry. Although my mother refuses to share the details of his death, I know that his death was ruled "accidental by cocaine injection". My uncle, unbeknownst to me, had a coke problem. But, even if he did, he was always known to be deathly afraid of needles. And, even if he did die by injection of cocaine, how in the hell did the dresser get up on the bed, on his head!!!???

I have come up with my own theory based upon my sleuthing.

My Aunt Marcy was a peice of crap the whole time they were married. When my Uncle realized she was a waste, he left her and got a place of his own. Once Marcy realized that the life insurance policy would be null and void to her if my uncle died and they were divorced, she got scared. From there on, it could go 2 ways...

My aunt had people break into my uncle's new home continually to beat him up, hopefully one day leading to his death before their divorce.

How could one single man be targeted by so many different assaultors?? Based upon the evidence of every assault, it seems as if someone tipped off the assaultors that my Uncle was vulnerable to attack (his leg was off every time he was attacked, as he was about to get in the shower). The only person who would know when my Uncle was about to take a bath would be his son, who was living with him during the time.

2. On the day of his death, he came home and an argument ensued between him and his son. His son accidentally killed him during a fight (My cousin had a large black eye during the funeral), and, scared for his life, called his mother to come and help cover it up. When she arrived, they broke the mirrors, pictures, and threw clothes everywhere. They then proceeded to pick up the heavy dresser and put it on his head.

Another way it could have happened is that Marcy killed him herself, while she was "away" in Miami. She could have easily broke into his condo while he was asleep and vulnerable (he never slept with his leg on), knocked him unconcious before he awoke, and injected him with cocaine to make it look like an accident or suicide. I dont know what the breaking of the pictures and things would constitute as in this scenario.

All I know is that if a person lethally injects themselves with any substance, I am almost positive that they would not have the physical strength to lift up a 300 lb. dresser and put it on their own head before they died. And based upon COMMON SENSE, a person cannot move their body, much less a dresser, AFTER they die.

I cannot believe that my uncle's death was ruled an accident. There is no way in hell I can even begin to explain how I feel about the situation. During the funeral, it took all of my strength, and all of my fiancee's strength to keep me from jumping onto Marcy and strangling the life out of her ugly, scarecrowish body. Since I live in VA, and my Uncle "died" almost 2 years ago, there is nothing I can do to get the Florida Police to investigate this issue further. All I can do is warn others to stay away from this woman. She is dangerous. She did not even wait for my Uncle's body to get cold before filing for the Life Insurance.

As of now, I have no closure in the "death" of my uncle. Based upon what I know, it should have been ruled a Homicide, as that is what all the evidence suggests. I don't know what to do about this. Even to this day, all I can think about is hearing my "aunt" Marcy talking on the phone at the funeral about the party they were having later in the evening. What can I do about this???? What could anyone do about this???

IF ANYONE HAS SEEN MARCY HARRIS, maiden name MARCY DELGUIDICE, pronounced DEL-GWEE-DIS, RUN!!!! OR, if you have the stones, GRAB HER UP, and take her to the nearest police station.

I WILL NOT REST UNTIL THIS PEICE OF CRAP IS BEHIND BARS, OR EVEN BETTER, DEAD DEAD DEAD!!!!

I'm sorry for your pain

AUTHOR: Nancy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 24, 2004

My first husband was murdered when I was 19 years old, so I know well what the pain of such an unexpected turn of events in your life can feel like.

You asked: "What can I do about this???? What could anyone do about this???"

First off, prepare yourself for anything, then start researching. You can order copies of the police reports, autopsy report, and newspaper reports yourself. They shouldn't cost much at all, just a small copying and shipping fee usually, since you can't physically go pick them up yourself. Read thru them and learn the facts of the case, then make your final decision on what really happened that night. That is the only way you will know for sure what went down, you won't know just by talking to others who weren't there.

No matter what the outcome, quit beating yourself up over this. Your uncle wouldn't want you to do that I'm sure. Letting this stay at the forefront of your mind for years will just drive you crazy and keep you from having any joy in your own life. There are times in life we don't find closure. All we can do is let it drop, try to forget it and move on. I'm not gonna tell you it's easy, but it can be done.

I wish you well and will pray you find the truth that you are searching for and it brings you peace of mind.
