Ron Eckstine Management/REM Scam/Pervert/Possible Escort Ring rip off in Beverly Hills California

Ron Eckstine Management is a pseudo management company in Beverly Hills for new female singers. He mainly preys on new, or new to LA, very good looking racially mixed young females. He claims to be the son of jazz legend Billy Eckstine but Billy's sons claim not to know Ron. A lawyer's background check on Ron Eckstine showed he had been sued several times for harassment and bankruptcy.

Ron Eckstine will encourage his singers to sing in showcases in LA, to pop songs which he might or might not have rights to use, and then will eventually state that he must sleep in the same bed with the singer for her work to continue.

I have run across a few women in LA, none of whom knew each other (they worked with Ron at different times), who had similar experiences with Ron and who believed that Ron may be running an escort ring fronted as a management company. Ron tells his singers to dump their boyfriends (or to not date), not to get married, not to have children, not to be students, and does not encourage parents or relatives to attend the showcases.

New singers contacted by Ron should be aware of this and know that there are MANY other legitimate managers and music producers in LA. Ron is not one of the legit ones.

He will claim that anyone who says negative things about his is jealous that he would not work with them, but many of the girls who turned him down have gone on to much bigger and better jobs, so this is not the case.
