These people are scam artists. My girlfriend was on line looking for grant for college and found success grants website. Their site said for $1 shipping and handling they would send her a free cd giving her info on how to find grants. She asked me to charge it on my card; I thought well I have fraud protection on my Bank of America card so if it is fraud they will take care of it; and if not I'd only be out $1. The following month I notice an $80 charge on my card  and a phone number(wtf); so I call the number and it is to cancel my subscription to their service. What service I asked. I got the run around from 3 different people and informed that their terms and conditions state that this was a free 2 day trial and if I didn't cancel I would be charged $80 a month. By now I relized this is a total scam and called Bank of America; by this time they charged my card a second time for $80. Bank of America  said I can dispute the charges but because they state it in the fine print in their terms and conditions; that I would lose the dispute. Now, first off I would think that Bank of America would be aware of such scams and secondly, who decides the outcome of this dispute? This is definetly a scam and any moran reviewing these desputes should be able to see that, but they'll get away with it cause its listed in their terms and conditions. So because I didn't take the time to read all the terms and conditions it is legal to rip me off? I already know I'll never get my $ back; and $160  ain't gonna break me. But the whole idea of this and people getting away with doing this to myself and other people who may be hurt considerably financially; has just made me Livid. I'm not looking for foney customer support, a lawyer, or useless Gov. agency to contact me. I'm gonna take matters into my own hands. I truely believe that some of these people need to be severly hurt so mabey they'll think twice before ripping honest people off. And if our legal system isn't gonna help and protect us from these people then we need to take some action. I am looking for the name and address off the person running this scam; if anybody knows this info it would be greatly appreciated.  One of the charges on my bill sais Ohio. Only a couple states away; Not out of my reach!
