The Chicago Fashion Week & Marvel Models rip-off! Elmhurst Illinois

This group called The Chicago Fashion Week ripped me my sister and other professional models off. They pretended that they were going to pay us for our service. I along with other models. I turned down real designers and lost BIG money, thinking that I was going to get paid for modeling these designers clothing (Sean Le Paul, Ashlique, Custo Barcelona, Sexcells,Nicole Marie,Mary Kate and Ashley,etc . Then I heard that the designers paid to be a part of the show, $300 to be exact.

We even signed Contracts with these People, Norman Scales, Krystal, Clint, just to name a few of these people acting as their scouts. I asked before I took the job how they were going to pay the models and they said they had received grants that would enable them to pay for the events. What I found out is that they were working behind the guise Marvel Models out of Elmhurst. They told us that we would get paid and that it should take up to 90 days. The contract read that we would have to do 2 shows per day for $200.

I did a total of 24 show and to this date 12/2/2004 I still have not been paid and my sister has not been paid as well as some of the other models I spoke to. Now their website is down and the phones are off. They were totally a scam. Well I am a believer that you do unto others and others will do unto you. GOd Sees all. They may be getting away now but, later, in someway they will have to account for what they did.
