In November 2007 I purchased two pallets of store returns from RhinoMart. We had been investigating purchasing a truckload of store returns from RhinoMart, however due to a vacation schedules we could not fly down to inspect the load. We decided to purchase two pallets (~$2500) that we were assured were the same quality as the truckload from Cos*co. The sales person we spoke to quoted approx 80 - 85% functional items. I thought that was a bit high and would have been satisfied with a functional rate near 50%.
The pallets are well manifested, and were shipped and delivered in record time. Since I am buying store returns I expect to have to work on the items I receive, however, not one item in this shipment was functional. RhinoMart apparently runs a store where these items are sold, some of the items in the lot had their store labels on them. My assumption is that their lots are badly cherry picked and the remainder of their salvage junk is dumped onto a pallet, marketed and sold as Store Returns.
I have voiced my concerns to RhinoMart, and other than a reply saying that a manager was looking at the issue, I have not heard another word from them. I would strongly caution against purchasing pallet loads from this vendor.

In rebuttal to "RhinoMart Salvage junk listed as High Quality store returns. Chino California" I would like to offer another customer point of view.
I have purchased several lots from them that were labeled as customer returns. A few units did in fact need minor repair (as is expected) but in every lot I have received a high percentage of functional items ranging from 80-90% (a few times I have had 100% functional lots that were customer returns). I would wonder what kind of items were manifested and if they perhaps have known issues and/or recall information from the manufacturer. I feel confident in their company and products and will continue to do business with them in the future.
Regarding management I've dealt with primarily one associate and he is more than helpful with every transaction. I believe the previous poster may have unfortunately had a stroke of bad luck with this order.
