Younger Direct Marketing Ethics Violations and More !!!

I am a computer consultant. I was asked to interview with Younger Direct Marketing via an agency (General Employment). Directly following my interview with Phil Younger, several employees, and an outside consultant) they expressed an interest in retaining my services.

On my way home I was contacted by a representative of
Younger Direct. They asked to meet me at a local restaurant to
talk about some further details. The representative asked me if I would consider stepping around the agency that organized our
meeting and hire on with Younger directly (ETHICAL VIOLATION
SUPREME !!!). I refused citing both legal and ethical issues.

They retained my services via the agency and I started working for them. My first day was standard orienatation and initial setup of my workstation, etc. The second two days were for a thrid party product training session they had arranged prior to my arrival.

The second day of training was a half day. Finding nothing for me to do I left for the day. Within an hour, Phil Younger called me and stated that he expected for me to be there full time.

I told him that I left becuase I had nothing assigned to me to do. I asked him if he had an assignment for me. He stated that he did not. I told him that I would return at 8:00 am the following morning. He apparently was not happy with this and contacted the agency. After about three hours he was no longer interested in continuing our employment relationship.

After him having received a bill for the time that I was there he refused payment (FRAUD ALERT !!!). Mr. Younger personally decided to not honor the compensation for my time. If you are considering employment with Younger Direct I would strongly consider getting payment up front !!!
