Fairbanks Capital Mortgage Corp is double charging late fees, excessive fees, rude customer service, refusal of mos loan stmts, false charges of arrearages fraudulent ripoff business the business that doesn’t give a damn deceptive company

My loan was bought in July 2002 by Fairbanks Capital Corp. The first incident was due to their requiring proof of insurance while having all the information by aquiring my original loan.

They billed me for $2400 in premium for forced coverage by one of THEIR affilated companies or 3rd party associates. I work for a large insurance company and was appalled at the run around and lack of consumer concern. It wasn't their problem was what I was told, I got to deal with one of their cohorts.

Seems Fairbanks like to have others do their dirty work, and won't give customers a straight answer. Even after providing proof, I was told that if I didn't pay them the $800 partial payment for the forced coverage, that they would notify the credit bureau! I certainly wasn't going to send them money that I didn't have, and that wasn't owed!! Threats or no threats.

From there is has gotten worse, although I was late with a couple payments, I paid the late fee's and found that they had charged me twice for the same late fee. They even had someone come to my home after ONE late payment WITHOUT being notified.

Seems one of my neighbors saw the person, whom was dressed poorly, driving a suspious way older model beat up compact car, and they left a note on my door. Upon calling, I found out that they also charged me for this person coming out to see if the property was abandoned!!!

I'm not in foreclosure, I'm current to date with my payments and this company is still saying I owe them........2 months of house payments that I DON"T OWE, and a late charge. Calling them is a joke cause no one knows their head from a hole in the ground, its outrageous!!

The only reason company like theirs are still in business is because of fraudulent business practices!!
