GOLD & TIME REFUSED TO HONOR MY RECEIPT LEWISVILLE Texas

In Feburary, I went to Gold & Time in Lewisville Texas at Vista Ridge Mall to purchase a new battery for my watch, which cost me $12. My watch worked for about 2 weeks, then stopped.

I took my watch back to Gold & Time and explained I purchased a new battery 2 weeks ago, and my watch stopped working. He checked it, and said it needed to be cleaned, and he will replace the battery. I was charged $10 for the cleaning.

In June, my watch stopped working again. I had another watch I had purchased, and the battery had stopped working in it. So I took my new watch there to get another battery, and I asked him how long the battery should last, he said about 2 years.

I explained to him that the battery in my other watch had stopped working, and I had just got it in February. He told me to bring the watch back, and he will replace the battery.

After I searched through months of receipts, I found the receipt when I purchased the battery. So I went back with my watch and receipt. He takes the battery out of the watch, he shows me the battery, and says that is not their battery. He says they don't have those kinds of batteries there. I told him that's where I brought the battery from, and how I even had to take the watch back there and paid to get the watch cleaned.

He just kept saying they don't have those kinds of batteries there, while he had the receipt in his hand from when I purchased the battery, and he refused to give me another battery, when I had the receipt that I purchased it there, he said there was nothing he can do.
