I was furious when I noticed that Macy's put a note on our charge card stmt that they were changing our credit agmt:  1.  Raising interest rates to around 25% and 2. Starting interest charges from date of product purchase, and 3. Increasing late fees, etc.

I rarely use the Macy's card and always paid off any balance immediately, if/when using the card.  I called the OPT-OUT 800# and refused their new terms, asking them to immediately cancel the acct.

So, the credit card company is raising interest rates and yet you don't have a balance on the card? Um, nothing new here.

Where's the ripoff?
