My wife recieved a letter and a check from Metso Minerals Industries Market Reseach, indicating that she had been selected to participate in a paid Consumer Research Program in our area as a Consumer Service Evaluator at selected outlets and gas stations. The check was for $3500.00 and she would be compensated $300.00 a week for the first 2 months and that would increase to $500.00 per week afterwards. She was given 2 assignments.

The first was to be trained on sending money via Moneygram to a person of her choosing and second was to drive to a gas station in our area to check out gas prices to see if they were gouging. The first assignment needed to be completed within 48 hours while the second could be completed within a week. She was instructed to deposit the check into her account and call a coordinator within 24 hours for instructions.

The coordinators were Ms. Andrea Bates or Mr. Larry Phillips at 1-438-884-3500. The breakdown of funds were: $300.00 for Weekly Probation training pay, $200.00 Bonus funds for gas & shopping, and $3000.00 required funds to send to a person of her choice. When my wife called the coordinator he had an accent and she couldn't understand him. He said Ms. Bates was on vacation and he was going to drop her from the program because she had questions. I googled Metso Minerals and they are real but everything else was as phoney as a three dollar bill. These folks need to be caught and put under the jail. Don't do it. This is one of the oldest scams on the books trying to make a comeback. Regards.
