I received a phone call at work offering a better electricity rate then what I currently had and signed up for MXenergy to be my electricity supplier and received a quote of .0884. I just received the confirmation letter in the mail and the rate listed was .0939.

I immediately called MXenergy and was told that the rate quoted must have been a mistake. I said it wasn't a mistake as I was on the phone for a long time, going over everything (and it was recorded). I'm sure I confirmed the rate in this call more then once. I also signed up for my company which I'll be canceling also since I'm sure when I get that confirmation letter the rate will not be as quoted either.

There was no offer to uphold what I was quoted and I canceled. I'm going to write a letter to the head of this organization.
