I recently has a run in with QT BILL.COM , on or about 12/08/2010 approx time 01:52 pm.
was a computer telepromted call apperantly from a pay phone in or near the nashvile south district as far as i could trace v.i.a phone trace and whereis.
First off they never Gave the caller's name! nor where the call was from they just started say you have a collect call then proceeded into thier speel of your first and last name enter on your phone pad then ask for D.o.B. then asked for last 4 number's of my ssi. number address enter on keypad ect.
These are nice tactics for a person attempting identity theft on false pretenses. as i am aware of from past experience. To line out the story here thier first! mistake was not giving a callers name ! or clearly stateing the callers name and intent.
Next was asking for personal indentity over a landline which violates homeland security act of False attempts to gain information of person or persons identity to be used for purposes or purposes unknown!.
and a little F.Y.I no one! is allowed to ask your S.S.I. number "EXCEPT"! the I.R.S
under federal law that number is secure for personal reason's and legally Your employer is not even allowed to ask it except for tax filing purposes.
So to kinda wrap things up here they asked all this info and never completed a call which intails! "NO SERVICE WAS PROVIDED"!
NOW LET ME ASK YOU THIS? if you go to your mechanic ? and he says well you owe me $39.95 for a oil change and lube and he never even looked at your car? are you going to pay them?. NO! same with going to wal-marts and push a empty cart out the door but they hit you with a $129.00 bill? would you pay that? Nope!
it's the same thing i told Greg at QT BILL in email and on the phone! you didn't provide a service and i am NOT! paying you a dime well almost in those term's cause i was a little more profane with Him!
To make a long story short and get down to brass tacks QT BILL is nothing more than a indentity Scam service owned by Indians from india using a D.B.A set up in indianna under the name QT Bill to be able to run there scam from a USA address.!
and they harvest your info for personal reasons in "INDIA" to gain whatever they can from using your identity to forge passports and charge accounts in your name.
Also to gain credit basis in your given info, BE AWARE! QT BILL is not just a Fake payphone solicitor! They are a Scam! indentity theft entity! DO NOT send them any money hire a lawyer!
