Verizon installed equipment in my home and in the process, ruined two statues that were given to me by my now deceased grandmother. Sedgwick CMS was to settle the claim on behalf of Verizon. Sedgwick's Claim Adjuster called and bullied me into either accepting a very low amount and when I refused, they closed the claim without a settlement. My only recourse was to call them back and settle for the low amount. Their claim's adjuster and his manager were very rude and obnoxious. The claims adjuster even threatened me for calling Verizon about the status of the claim. They are not good representatives for Verizon and Verizon takes no responsbility for their screw ups or the poor service provided by Sedgwick CMS.

Don't let the Thugs at Sedgwick CMS Oush you around!!

There are a couple of important things you need to do.

FIRST – update your ripoff report with the name of the adjuster, it's important to do this as these thugs love to hide behind a veil of secrecy, that's why you can't find their address.

Second – file a complaint with the insurance commissioner in your state and relate the details about Sedgwick CMS to them. Sedgwick CMS is “owned” by Fidelity National and Thomas H. Lee Partners, file a ripoff report on them as well.

Third – go to my website http://gesupplydiscrimination.com/ and click on “shocking news update” then click on “Sedgwick CMS Office Locations” maybe you can find the address there and include it in your ripoff report update.

You could have filed a lawsuit against Verizon. You had other options. Claims adjusters always low-ball claimants. It's expected. I deal with them everyday. If they low-ball me and don't back off a nominal offer, I send them a copy of the complaint I intend to file against their insured. You can't let claim adjusters push you around.
