This is all true they tell you that u are hired.(BULL) You go to a training class not paid. They want you to go sell to family and friends and get leads from them for the company to use. At the end of your training they give you forms to sign saying that you are not going to get paid if you dont do 15 shows a month but they tell u its guaranteed $475 a week. (once again bull) This is a waste of your Time Silver Circle Dist, is Kirby Vacuum Cleaners Sales. Be Aware to all who applys for this company. They are very misleading when they hire you. They tell you that you are hired to advertise and Demonstrate the product.
They tell you that they provide the appointments for you and you are on a base salary. Not!!! Your training program is designed for your trainer to make commissions off of your sales to your friends and family. They tell you that it is to gain experience of the equipment. Not
What they don't tell you is they never have enough shows and when there are no shows you are door to door sales. There are numerous ex employees that can tell you that they have never gotton paid. Which if you don't make the 15 shows a week then you don't get paid.
I was there for awhile and never once did i see one employee get the guareented Salary. The Human Resourse Managers make it seem as if this is a nine to five Job. Nope it is a seven day a week, ten to twelve hours.
They tell you that there is a $1000 Signing bonus. Yeah if you do 60 demonstrations for the month, and believe me it doesn't happen.
They tell you paid vacations, Yeah if you sell a certain amount for the contest period.
They tell you that there is medical and dental after 60 days, Yeah Right ask one person in that place to show you there benefits package.
This Company has detroyed alot of peoples lives. People have quit there jobs to work at this place and then after a week or two of not getting paid your unemployeed again.
This company is the biggest rip-off there is. As the world knows Kirby is a rip-off. The Distributors by these machines from the factory in Cleveland Ohio very very cheap and resell them @ $2000. Please.
Silver Circle Dist has destroyed alot of peoples lives in the Hudson Valley. They try to sell you a dream and are very misleading in the information they give you. Try asking them to put it in writing that they can guarentee you 15 shows a week.
Please anyone that gets involved with this company and you start training let your friends and family know that your training is really to try and get your friends and family to buy them, not to mention to try and get referalls of there friends and family to produce shows for the office.
SCAM SCAM SCAM. Don't be a sucker like I was. I worked my butt off for this company and have nothing to show for it. I can't believe that the owner of this company Tom Peters thinks he has any character what so ever ripping off people the way he does. Tom Peters is racist and has a problem the way he uses his positon to indimidate people. He is very manipulative to get what he wants.
Please all that apply for this company, Be aware of what this is all about. Know that a week after you are with this company, or at any other kirby office, the week you or two you bring in your equipment know someone out here told you so !!
