Western Union Auction Payments ripped me off for my ebay auction payment, keep giving me the runaround. ripoff Broomfield Colorado

On or about 02/04/2004 I sold an item on ebay for $99.00. The buyer paid thru Western Unions Auction Payment service. Western Union sent me an email stating they would be sending me a money order for said amount. They also requested that I inform them if the address I was to ship to was different than the buyers mailing address. It was, so I did. Big mistake.

Western Union did send me a money order for the correct amount, but then cancelled that money order without telling me until after I had deposited the money order in my bank. In the email informing me of this cancellation they also said it was done per my request. I assure you that I did nothing of the sort. Anyway, they then asked me(after several emails and phone calls from me) to go to my bank and have them fax Western Union the bank charge for the cancelled money order, which I did. My bank responded to their request the same day.

Now the run around really gets good. Western Union said that they had mailed a second money order, but they sent it to the buyer by mistake instead of me. They said that they would cancel that money order also, and I could pick up the money from my local Western Union facility. Guess what, I still haven't gotten paid, I still am getting the run around, even though I have facilitated their every request. Not only that, I am out my original item, I have no money for it, as it was shipped per Western Unions instructions, and I am out the bank charges and much time and effort attempting to collect. This has been on going for over a month now to no avail. I will keep persuing this matter to it's conclusion, I wish there was more I could do. I wish that there was a way to cause them as much grief as they are causing me. I know I will never use them again.
