But just for the record he is held in the highest regard by numerous police forces throughout the country. This is why so many departments send their leaders out to see his operation. If you are a criminal you don't want to go to the Maricopa County jail. It ain't prisoner friendly and that is the truth. I have yet to meet anyone other than some whining Ca. liberals who move into the state and try to deny access to the trails because they have their million $ houses on the mountains.

The comment about the Cosa Nostra is typical leftist diatribe against Italians that succeed without the help of the Liberal Democratic faction. If he was a Mexican American they would never mention a gang relationship or if he was black they certainly would hide any connection to Jesse or Al Sharpton.

Why do you suppose Arpaio supported Napolitano? For the same reason he supports Prop 202. He has something to gain. He thinks Janet will become governor and the 17-tribe alliance will be good to him. He is just a self-serving SOB (not to mention a jack-booted thug, who has his minions do his dirty work, so he can keep his hands clean).

I have never been so appalled by the actions of a united police force who work together to arrest a man for impersonating a DPS officer, when clearly it was only an Halloween costume. This is a violation of several Constitutional Rights. He and his cronies will pay for their tauting the Law.

"Toughest Lawman in America" my butt. Sheriff Joe is maybe the most dishonest, repressive, and publicity conscious. Other than that, his real distinctions amount to:

(1. Paying out more money in false imprisonment

suits than anybody on the planet;

(2. Being the only public "tough guy" I ever

heard of to get the hell kicked out of

him by a hairdresser;

(3. The only "cop" (and I use that word

advisedly) to have arrested an ACTOR

for wearing costume items he actually

bought from the Sheriff's Department

(and in which he was NOT attempting

to actually impersonate anybody)...

P.T. Barnum and Rube Goldberg might have something in common with this fraudulent dirtbag, but this county has to face facts: Joe is an ugly, incompetent idiot whose net effect on this entire state is a huge tax burden.

When I sued the office for false imprisonment (and won, let me add), their moronic defense sounded like a five-year-old. Insects need to be crushed, not publicized and venerated.

Charles (see his "rebuttal" above) is one of those sleazy idiots who thinks by tossing out some hateful buzzwords ("California, new left,
ARIZONA REPUBLIC, liberal, etc.") he has addressed an issue.

The bozo he is defending, however, is
probably thought of in more disgusting terms by
Arizona born and bred conservatives such as myself than by whoever the hell it is Charles thinks he is responding to. Reason: he is an embarassment. There is nothing wrong with
appropriate punishment for crimes. Trouble is,
a lot of Arpaio's victims aren't guilty of anything, and a lot of the others are guilty of what amount to minor infractions.

Little lesson, stupid: Joe doesn't run
CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES. He runs DETENTION FACILITIES, which, though they may see short-term offenders, have almost nothing in common
with prisons.

The only notation about Joe's ethnicity that
is significant is that he is of the same nationality as that other fascist, Mussolini, but is such a nincompoop, he lacks even the efficiency and honor of THAT august personage. The very fact that this sleazebag generates subnormal mentalities like Charles tells you
that there are some who will still follow a
Pied Piper, no matter how many lies the player generates.

Joe doesn't just need censure and slaps on the wrist. He needs to do HARD TIME. Charles, you idol is a lowlife criminal. You silly

I was in his cesspool for 9 days on charges which were totally bogus. Until then, I had an attitude similar to yours. But, hey, I knew everything had been faked by the lying Mesa cops, and I knew if I stuck by the truth, they would have to dismiss or be smashed at trial. It took me nine days to get bond together and get a lawyer.

It was a nightmare of criminal injustice, for everyone. Within 48 hours of walking out that door, my attorney forced the prosecutor to dismiss. Otherwise, I'd have sued for very large money, and the scumbag KNEW it.
I still want to find a way to bankrupt this dungpile you call a sheriff for some of the excesses practiced regularly in the jails.

This guy is a bottom feeder, who has learned to make money and publicity out of what is a fraudulent system.

Ever read the Constitution, stupid? It says we are all innocent until proven guilty. And that's who is mostly in jails. Thing is, I WAS COMPLETELY INNOCENT... And I was treated worse than I would've been in a real prison. And so is everybody else. "Lost" paperwork, fake delays in seeing an attorney, selective use of the telephone, revolting food a pig would not even touch, filth all over, and no means for the inmates to clean anything properly...that's your ESTEEMED sheriff's legacy.

We need somebody with some guts (which Joe doesn't have) and some ethics (which Joe never even heard of) and honor (which ain't in Joe the scumbag's vocabulary) to take this S.O.B. apart in court.

Joe Arpaio is a worm. And Charles, so are you.
