A woman called me on the phone and said I had a grant coming in the amount of $4500.00. I have applied for grants so I went for it, and gave her my bank information that she requested so the money could be deposited in my account.

Then she told me in order to receive the funds, I had to pay a release fee of $359.00!! That's when I concluded the conversation.

I will contact my bank today and flag my account.
Something needs to be done about scams like this.
