Words can not adequately describe just how insufferable and impossible passive-agressive nightmare Amy Fleischer, an executive of Mercedes Benz Fashioin Week and IMG World, is to deal with. This is one executive that people should not walk away from dealing with, they should put on their track shoes and run away from her as if she's a brush fire.

Bland on the outside, Amy Fleischer is vicious on the inside, a nightmare of a woman, hell-bent on obstructing others from doing their work, unless of course they are somehow "servicing" Amy Fleischer herself. She even lectures people on her staff about the importance of, quote, "kissing ass," like she had to way back when she worked with a circus, which, incidentally, would have been a very good place for her to remain employed, preferrably in the elephant's cages, shoveling the droppings, which is where she rightfully belongs.

Run, people. Run!

Amy Fleischer - Hard Working and Dedicated

I have known Amy Fleischer for over 25 years. The opinions shared in this report are extremely unfair, harsh and very harmful. I wanted to offer my insight, and I must respond so that I can do something to assist her in repairing her reputation, since the attempt is being made here to damage it.

Although I haven't worked with Amy since we were starting out in our careers, I have watched her interact with numerous colleagues over the years, and she has become close to many of them, as have I. I have personally witnessed Amy going "above and beyond" on many occasions for her employers/clients, working on weekends and while on vacation, responding to requests and troubleshooting problems. She is available whenever, wherever...

A core group of her friends has assisted her with many of her projects and events (me included, and I was happy to help). As a matter of fact, I have been with her on numerous times during projects and events that she coordinated. Everyone who has come in contact with her respects and likes her tremendously, and I can say this from personal experience. The fact that she is categorized in the manner indicated in this report is an abomination, and I, as her friend, take great offense to it.

It is my sincere hope that I have helped Amy by responding to the rubbish that has been posted about her. If you have the opportunity, deal directly with Amy - your company, event, etc. will benefit from having Amy involved.

Amy Fleischer - Professional Colleague

I have known Amy Fleischer for 10 years. I met her while we worked together for the same company and have remained friends with her ever since. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome when I joined her team. I have seen her interact with co-workers, clients, vendors and customers and never saw her act inappropriately or “kiss ass”.

She is a dedicated employee who is genuinely interested in creating a win win relationship between the company she works for and the client. She is creative and hard working. The Amy I know always did her job and succeeded in reaching her goals and budgets.

She has developed long term professional and personal relationships with her clients and co-workers and goes out of her way to make sure everyone is comfortable in any situation.

She is a hard working employee who has always cared for the people she worked with and always thought about herself last. She never complained when working long hours, including nights and weekends. She is always accessible to her fellow employees and clients.

Amy is her own worst enemy

The responses provided are personal references and are not necessarily reflective of Amy's current work product.  Amy will start out with the best of intentions and is worthy of her friend's support.

However, Amy does not recognize her own limitations and will not always follow through with her work.  She frequently cancels appointments and calls at the last minute without regard for the other people involved - i.e., my time is more important than yours concept.  She is difficult to pin down on her deliverables - she frequently promises items but when it comes time to produce them, she will reluctantly concede that she either doesn't have them or hasn't picked them up yet.  This goes to her credibility as a consultant and contract worker.  

She is her own worst enemy - the truth is difficult for her to admit when she is wrong.  It is very difficult to work with someone who won't be honest with you regarding a situation.  Defensively, she will point fingers at other people or make bad excuses.  Most of us would prefer the truth even if it isn't what we want to hear.  However, lying about a situation (and bad lying at that) makes it harder to work with her and hard to trust her when she is going to get something done in a timely fashion.
