Anderson Crenshaw Associates Unlawful debt collection Ripoff Dallas Texas

I contacted Anderson Crenshaw when reviewing my credit report and noticing an old debt. It was definately my intention to get to the bottom of who this company was and find a resolution. After much time, I finally found their questionable reasonings for the debt, but that was all negotiable. I cancelled a service, never received a service, never received a bill or notice, but they said they have my signature on file. Fine. I realize how futile it can be to fight companies like this, so I wanted to compromise.

The representatives at Anderson Crenshaw and Associates did not want to discuss a fair settlement nor even discuss payment. They chose to call me names, threaten to ding my credit report with unauthorized inquiries and harass me at work. I can't even try to communicate with them at a logical level.

And when I ask for the supervisor, I either get hung up on or passed to the representative I just spoke to. I have asked this company not to call, but they continue to threaten and harass me. What they are doing is illegal and unethical. I have contacted the BBB and an attorney. These unlawful practices need to stop.
