Antonline website misstated drive capacity for specific item which resulted in wrong item being ordered. Website paragraph description stated hard drive capacity up to 500 GB, when it was only 250 GB listed in small print elsewhere. They show no address on website; refuse incoming calls for support (only take calls for new sales).

Calls for Nancy Comerford, the CEO were put on hold for 20 minutes, until I hung up. They use auto reply to e-mail for support which directs you a return button where you agree to pay return freight and 15% restocking charges. They refused to provide contact name or corporate address. Going through BBB reveals 24 complaints filed. Certified letters to Nancy Comerford, CEO are unanswered.

The city of Alpharetta, Georgia business license bureau has officers listed for corporation. This info was used to send a certified letter to Nancy Comerford, CEO. They claim 4 employees. They outsource and drop ship from vendor warehouses, listing their name as shipper.

They have violated California Consumer Protection Law, failed to adequately deal with consumer complaints, stonewall issues with automatic replies which attempt to get you to agree to pay additional charges which waive your consumer rights.

PayPal is of almost no help. PayPal policy advises buyers they must pay return freight or claim will be denied by PayPal. PayPal needs to review their policy which advises sellers to give up their rights under state law(s). PayPal fails to understand factual misrepresentation is not a subjective issue.

Buyers are not responsible to pay (without promise of reimbursement) return freight in cases of factual misrepresentation of a product. Buyer has responsibility to issue pick up call tag.

Product shipped from California warehouse to California resident and is covered by California Consumer Protection Law.

Visa investigating.

Writing final letter to Charles and Nancy Comerford at their home (see business license filed in Alpharetta, Georgia) to agian get them to pick up drive and issue full credit without restocking charge.
