When I first got this I thought it was a scam, so I ignored it. Then the phone calls came. Everytime I got one I told the person on the phone that this was an old debt that should have been settled in a divorce. What they would tell me is to go ahead and pay the reduced amopunt, and then sue my ex-wife for the entire amount.

Another thing that tipped me off was that the collection papers were filed in the COUNTY of St. Martin. I live in Louisiana, we have PARISHES!!

Then yesterday I got another call and then like a dummy proceeded to give them information in order for them to auto-draft out of my account. That's when I came and googled CAMCO+SCAM and found you guys. I felt like an idiot.

Tomorrow I am going to my bank and try to stop the auto draft and rip off a letter to my "friends" at CAMCO.
