I wish to rebut this complaint from an ex-account executive for Central Payment Corporation. I have been an independent contractor salesman for CPC for about a year now. I switched over to them from another company that wa snot providing good customer service to the clients I acquired. I consider myself a professional salesman and I will not work for a company that does not provide an honest product or service or good service after the sale.
As an independent contractor I am only paid when I make a sale. There is no base salary, however commissions are therefore generous. I have made very good money with CPC but I have had months when I did not get out and hit the streets and hustle and of course my income then fell. That is my own fault, not CPC.
I am very happy working for CPC and I have always gotten outstanding support and encouragement from everyone there, from the owner on down. They have bent over backwards to assist even my most inexperienced clients to get their businesses and equipment up and running.
Their rates for credit card processing are very competitive. Believe me, I know, I have been in this business for years.
They have given me all the tools I need to succeed, from motivational and informative conference calls, to a great agent website, business cards, polo shirts, tons of brochures and information for clients...
The bottom line is, that sales is not for everyone. You cannot sit on your duff and expect money to flow, you have to get out and hustle. If you work hard and are professional, sales is the highest paid job in the world. But some people need that security of a paycheck every Friday, they are uncomfortable with not knowing from week to week what income they will have.
The individual who wrote this complaint states they are going into business with their grandfather. As a startup entrepreneur, they had better be ready for some insecure income for awhile. My best wishes to them.
Central Payment Corporation is a great opportunity if one has what it takes!
