CMS Consolidated Media Services ripoff scam Atlanta Georgia

In October 2002 I got the "call". How did they get my number, I do not know!!

They called me sounding all joyfull and happy telling me that I was entered in some sweepstake to win a very large amount of money. They also stated that the drawing will be held on December 31st, 2003.

I was told that I should recive an "Introductory Package" shortly, which would include a watch and that I was capable of choosing my own style, whether men or women.

Then I recieved my bank statement in November saying that $65 was taking out of my account. I called the bank and they provided me with the toll free phone number.

I called them and they told me that there was no one there in the office to handle my question. I told them that I was going to call back the next business day.

So over the weekend I'd deposited some money into my debit account and more than half of it was missing. When I called the bank they told me the same thing about CMS and give me their number one again which I'd already have.

I got too frustrated and decided to call them to find out that they were taking $44.98 a MONTH out of my account when they told me it would only be $69.95 for 4 whole years and that would be a total of about 12 magazines of my choice.

Not too long ago I recieved a call from a bill collector asking me if I know I owe them $44.98 i told him that I have already called and asked them to cancel my "so-called membership", he asked me if I was aware of the '10 day agreement policy'. I kindly told him no.

After that he give me a whole new different number, which was not toll-free and i spoke to a lady very stern and she told me that she cannot cancel my "membership", however she can lower my prices to $22.98 and reduce it to 2 years.

I was so angry I just hung up the phone, call the bank and cancel my credit card so that they would be unable to collect any money from my account.

Something NEEDS TO BE DONE..and right NOW!!!!!

CMS Magazine is a MAJOR RIPOFF!!!
