On Feb.27th my bank statement contained a charge of $79.95, auto-withdrawled by a company called Consumerinfo a.k.a. CIC credit monitoring. I had 2 days prior filled out an offer for a "FREE" credit report from same company! I not only am demanding a refund of my money but am strongly suggesting that the CEO of said company look the word "FREE" up in his Webster's dictionary!

My prediction for this company's survival is "slim to none" if they do not make right the wrong they have done to many internet users and then refrain from this act of "fraud" henceforth! I will be contacting both the State Attorney, Consumer affairs Division" and the BBB of this Company's Home based state and make formal complaints!

A call to the company!

On Sunday, March 2nd at 6:15 pm EST my wife made a call to the 888-888-8553 phone number provided and talked to Donna. Donna was insistant on speaking to me so that I could provide her with additional information such as SSN, mailing address and mother's maiden name. She assured me I would have a credit back in my bank account within 7 to 10 days as I used my bank debit card! Just before saying our farewells, my wife wanted me to remind her that our phone call had been recorded by us, I forgot to mention that at the start . As soon as I said that the call had been recorded, Donna suddenly was "NO LONGER" on the line! I will let you know what happens in 11 days! Good luck to all of us!
