Double Day Book Club, doubledaybookclub.com RIPOFF, CHARGES PUT ON ACCOUNT FOR NO REASON, NEW MEMBERS BEWARE! Internet

I joined doubledaybookclub.com and am SOOO SORRY I did. I've been told to be careful what I do on the internet, and this is a prime example.

In a nutshell, the agreement states you get "discounted" books when you join, then must purchase 4 more in 2 years. I evidently OVERPAID my account, so I had a credit balance... Suddenly, my credit is wiped away, and I am getting bills instead! THEY HAVE NO TOLL-FREE NUMBER--THEY MAKE YOU WAIT ON HOLD. THIS IS NOT NOT NOT A CUSTOMER-FOCUSED COMPANY!!

I have tried to get explainations about this, but to no avail. BUYER BEWARE!! Be careful with this organization. Not only are they using deceptive practices, but I've asked them to check into my ongoing account problems, and do not get any explanations, or response. BEWARE.

I finally told them I'm fed up just cancel me... WELL! That got a response "you can't cancel". That's to date, the ONLY response I have gotten. BEWARE.
