I was contacted by Peter Kloepfer and Todd Lee about their 6month - Walk thru mentoring(coaching) program to build a site.

They used as reference for their work "1 Million Visitors", "Free Ad Guru", "Money Home" and Stephan Ducharme.

They would provide 1hr coaching seassions for 12 weeks(most were 1/2 hr. to 45min.)and access 5 days a week (they meant the online help where it takes up to 24+ hours to respond), also would provide all the software and tools(not true -did not receive tools to obtain correct html for all browser-in fact it was never metioned nor the Merchant Account that I had to buy.

I was also told the coach would walk me through marketing and advertising (it is only in their written material - listing more companies I can buy from.)

I was told I would have my first sale in 2/3 weeks - when I chose the type of business I wanted to develop I was not told any different - that it would take much longer. Many weeks were spent on research alone.

When I thought my site was completed enough to submit to search engines I discovered it could not be read in most browsers - I needed to have another type of html for that - that was going to cost more again. I had used the free tool my coach suggested but apparantely it was not good enough.

By now my coaching sessions were over so I had no coach. When I tried to access the written lessons I was told I needed another code from my coach. I took two weeks for hime to respond and low and behold I no longer needed one.

The product catalog from the merchant account is not user friendly. At this point I either buy a program to try to redesign my site with the proper html or I pay aother company to redesign my site so it will really become profitable and not remain a loss.

As it is this site will never be profitable and my coach could care less, and I suppose no one else at the company does as they have moved and not notified anyone.

The only thing I have for all the money I paid is a site that is not worth all my effort, written material on their site and references to companies that I can buy more from.

I also have nothing good to say about Empire Marketing Systems, Intercation, WebPower Pac, WebPro Coach, Money Home, Stephan Durcharme, 1 Million Visitors, Free Ad Guru, or Maikel Bailey,

In summary:
Guaranteed I would recoup my investment in 6 months, that I would be walked through step X step: site development; they would evaluate site(never done); Linking site(never mentioned); aggressive marketing tools(only in printed materials where they try to sell you more); marketing strategies and immediate marketing (I was given a coupon to submiit by April, but site wasn't ready )

#1 Consumer Suggestion

They send you on a wild goose chase, and sit back and laugh at you while you try to make it all work.

AUTHOR: Paul - Anaheim (U.S.A.)

Here's the deal. This is fraud right from the start.

They pick victims who have no clue how the web works. That way, they can tell you anything they want. You won't know any better.

The idea is to keep you chasing your tail for a few months. That way, it makes it look like you actually got something for your money.

They basically convince you to buy this and that until your money is all gone. Then, they toss you out like yesterday's stinky garbage.

It was fraud, right from the start.

At the library, you could have borrowed a book that would have explained all you'd need to know to make a real web site.

Of course, I wouldn't recommend doing that either. There's no big fortune waiting for you on the internet. People think there is. That's why this con works so well.

Please list the correct companies

AUTHOR: Chad - Surprise (U.S.A.)

Margaret, Please do not include InterCation and Web Power Pak in your complaint. We were contacted by the same company as you, to provide Internet hosting services for some of our products. Like you, we were often times shorted on money and promises. You and I have actually spoken on the telephone, as I provided support for you on our software. We did not take your money, or make any of the promises to you, we simply build some technology, hosted it, and sold it to the wrong company. Please research us on the web, and you will see that we do not sell Internet "Coaching" services, we build custom websites and host them for businesses.

I understand that you are upset with the entire experience, as are we, however it is important that you name the appropriate players in the scam, otherwise you'll be hurting legitimate businesses.
